Philippines Adoption Fee Agreement

When Due


Review of application forms and background information, processing initial criminal and child abuse clearance. The application fee covers for criminal and child abuse clearances in the State of Hawaii. Any additional state fees related to the clearances carried out in the states/countries where applicant’s resided after their 18th birthday will not be covered by the application fee and will need to be reimbursed to the agency.

Adoption Home Study

Compilation of relevant documents, interviews and report writing. If off- island travel is required in order for the worker to meet the family, his/her travel expenses will be reimbursed by the applicant(s).


Before the start of Home Study interviews

Adomption Home Study Update

Home study reports are valid for 1 year. If for some reason the applicants are unable to submit their application within a year after the home study was completed, or if significant changes occur after the home study has been filed with the BCIS, an update report is required.

International Adoption Application Dossier Processing

Liaison with local and foreign government agencies to facilitate the adoption application process, coordination of services. Intercountry liaison with foreign adoption authorities for background information and identification of child.

Child Placement

Processing of child referral procedures.  Consultation for applicants regarding child acceptance. Liaison with foreign government agencies to arrange for additional travel to foreign country for child placement and completion of foreign adoption process.

Travel to the Philippines to complete the adoption process and bring your child home.



Airfare Per Person

Daily expenses, accommodation and food per person (recommended stay minimum 5 to 7 days)

Criminal Background Check

Costs associated with criminal background check to be paid by client


  1. Angency is accredited by Hauge and by the Intercountry Adoption Board of the Philippines
  2. Fees are subject to change without notice
  3. Fees are non-refundable.
  4.  Fees are due prior to commencement of service. Non-payment will delay or terminate service.
  5. There are fees and costs not covered by this agreement that are associated with the processing of documents for the application dossier; application and processing of the child’s visa through the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Citizenship Services (BCIS), psychological assessment report as requested by certain countries; and incidental travel costs that are not covered by this fee payment schedule. These fees are to be paid by the applicants directly to the relevant service providers and government agencies.
